As of yesterday I have been married 19 years.
I wish I could say something poetic and beautiful to express the past 19 year... but truth be told I am speechless~ The ups, the downs. The joys and the sorrows are really too much to put here. But the one thing I can honestly say is that I have grown to know true love, I have grown from a scrawny eighteen year old who didn't have a clue into an old bride who feels loved and cherished daily. I am so thankful for my leader and my protector, I am thankful for God's covenant of marriage. I am thankful that God has allowed me to experience the kind of marriage that few ever find and one I didn't deserve..... Happy Anniversary Darling, I can't wait to see what's waiting in the next 19.
P.S. I think you have the cutest dimple....
ohhh wow so doing the math, this makes you only 37...girlfriend your a baby...ROFL...in this day and age 19 years is something to be proud of...Congrats and I hope your day was awesome!!! Davie boy and I celebrate 25th later this year (November) (and I was 20 when we married...so do the math..I am old)
ReplyDeleteLOL! Cindy! You are my best friend for life!! I tell my boys all the time I am too young to be their mother! LOL! David was born the day before my 20th birthday. Some how saying you have a 17yr old son makes you OLD no matter what!
ReplyDeleteOn the other hand saying you're 45 doesn't sound old at all to me.... BUT saying you've been married a quarter of a century... well....yeah...:):) That is a big milestone gal!!! What is that? silver or something isn't it? That's wonderful!
yeah silver anniversary. Personally I think one of us deserves a gold medal (probably Davie boy ROFL) Well I have a 17 yo son now too, he turned 17 on June 7th. wowsers how did he get so old..and where did that cute kid go and why did he leave a mouthy teenager in his place...ROFL
